Michael Stipe says, "Come on, monsters! You don't have to cry, we can be happy" and then you hear some SMF (Standard Midi Files) compositions that are impossible to perform. In the unplayable scores, the upper and lower limits of the stuff have been forced in an extreme way. The notes of the score of the song "Shiny Happy People" or "Furry Happy Monsters" by the pop group R.E.M. have been de-quartered, propagated and expounded for all the compositions on the floppy disc.
Since a tie should be impossible due to the different instruments used, I have excluded all ties from this calculation. The elements involved in the scores are helicopters, applause, gunshots, bird tweets, synth voices and whistles.
If you scan the QR code you can get the scores (QR code only on diskette cover).
Furry happy monsters laughing
Monsters having fun
Feliz Feliz
See them jump and run
Feliz Feliz
Laughing all the while
Cheerful, cheerful
Flashing a big smile
That's a perfect sign
That they're feeling fine
Something has gone wrong
Sighing, sighing
Faces have turned long
Crying, crying
Hear them sob and whine
Tearful, tearful
That's a real good sign
That they're feeling glum
Sad, sad times have come
Furry sobbing monsters feeling sad
Furry sobbing monsters feeling sad
Furry sobbing monsters crying
Agnès pe works on sound beyond the limits enshrined by any musical genre.
Her work is characterised by a fun and overwhelming attitude -all or nothing style-, covering the parameters of MIDI files, and always seeking new ways of relating to the elements she re-composes.
She creates lush top hit songs pieces puzzled into a grotesque musical disformity. No speed limit.

spazzytastic jumps around a glitchy but beautiful world. entirely lovely and clear sounds form into locked grooves at times, but just as easily dissipate into grand poetic sonic verse. bkudler

an eclectic, never frenetic, journey through thoughtful organic rhythms and subtle lullabies. playful beats and micro-melodies: busy, yet with a refined minimalism that permeates the entire record. ioflow
